Site Survey & Installation

Prior to the commencement of a contract a survey is carried out on each and very development to enable us to afford the client with the best possible coverage and protection. Following the survey a detailed site plan outlining the initial location of all sensors is passed to our engineer’s department and an installation is carried out in a matter of hours with little if any disruption to the client.

The base station requires a power source to charge its internal batteries (mains or generator) but if there is no power on site then it can be run off 24 volt batteries which we supply. All sensors have their own power source in the form of internal batteries and as there is no hard wiring involved they can be relocated quite easily at the lients request.

Following installation a timetable is formulated with the client as to when the system is required to be on and off. Should power to the base station be cut at anytime t hen it will not effect the service as its internal backup batteries will run for up to 72 hours and it will immediately inform control that there is no supply getting to it, likewise if a sensor is tampered with it will immediately go into a state of alarm.

With all occurrences of this nature a response is generated and also flagged for engineer callout as a priority.
